Reality Mastermind

Today on Twitter, I ran across a post by a twitter pal of mine, James Wedmore about his first post on his new blog.  So I thought I’d go check it out expecting to see a half-blank blog.  Whoa, no way!  This guy’s site is cool.  Reality Mastermind is the site and it is much more than a blog.  It is a content management system (CMS) with a blog - but never mind that boring stuff, it is the concept that is cool.

The site is visually appealing, enticing you to “take a look around.”  Obviously, the immediate question comes to mind, what is Reality Mastermind?  It sounds like a new board game (do they still make board games?), and in a way, it does seem as if it were set up as a game.  The concept of this site is about 5 guys who got together with the end goal of making money online.

Making money online is not exactly a novel concept.  I think the thing that caught my attention was that these guys are really putting together a mastermind group in the the Napolean Hill sense.  No doubt, you are more likely to be successful if you have a nucleus of likeminded that you can bounce your ideas off of. And I guess these guys are doing that.  Gonna lock themselves in a room for a few hours a few times a month and brainstorm until they come up with some useful ideas.

This gave me an idea.  It is simple, but I think that you really do need others involved in your business -even in the area of internet marketing - if you want to be successful. I am going to build my own mastermind group!  I am going to follow these guys and learn from what they do as well as try to avoid the mistakes they will make.

Of course I am curious to see the execution of this project.  It is easier to say than do, but based on what I have seen, and knowing something about James, I think the next six months is going to be exciting to watch over at Reality Mastermind.
